Anupama Duddenpudi, M.D.

Dr. Duddenpudi is a clinical hepatology fellow at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She obtained her M.D. degree with Honors from the Texas A&M College of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at University of Texas - Southwestern Medical Center.
As a third year resident, Dr. Duddenpudi studied the role of herpes simplex virus as an etiology of acute liver failure under a grant from the National Institutes of Health, eventually presenting her work at the American Transplant Congress. She authored a chapter on the toxicity of chemotherapeutic agents in the Parkland Manual of Inpatient Medicine. Her current interests include non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and viral hepatitis.
Dr. Duddenpudi will begin a gastroenterology fellowship at the Texas A&M Health Science Center at Scott & White Hospital in 2009 with future plans to pursue a career in academic gastroenterology and hepatology.
